Žajdlíková, Kamila ; Loudová Stralczynská, Barbora (advisor) ; Poche Kargerová, Jana (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with anti-bias education and the Persona Dolls method. The aim of the thesis is to map the experience of teachers in Czech kindergartens who work with the Persona Dolls method and who have completed an accredited long-term Persona Dolls course. The theoretical part focuses on the historical and social context of diversity in the Czech Republic in the 20th century, anti-bias education and the principles and emergence of the Persona Dolls method in the world and in the Czech Republic. The practical part finds out what experience teachers have with the method. Specifically, what do they see as the benefits, risks and obstacles in implementing the method in preschool education and what recommendations do they make. For data collection, an interview method was used with ten graduates of the Persona Dolls course. By analyzing the interviews, it was possible to obtain answers to the research questions posed and to formulate recommendations that emerged from the interviews.
